| Construction is underway on Rhoads Hall II, a new
17-story cast-in-place concrete tower adjacent to an existing
dormitory, Rhoads Hall, at Virginia Commonwealth University. The
160,000 square foot dormitory contains six suites per floor, each
with four bedrooms, two baths, and a living room.
The first floor contains a student lounge, laundry facilities,
and study labs. The new lobby will serve both the new building and
the existing building, which remains occupied during construction. |
